    3. Package Description What about this package would catch your eye: Easy to read packaging which nicely displays the product visually since there is no window on the packaging to ensure freshness. The packaging provides to layers of protection, one with the sealed foil, then an additional plastic wrap around the candy inside.

Taste

  1. Method Consumed: Taken orally, chewed, resembles the texture of a “gummy” candy

  1. Taste – 1 (Gross) to 10 (Delicious): 1 2   3   4   5   6    8   9   10

    3. Taste Descripton: The flavor of the candy is lemon and it actually tastes like real Meyers lemons, slightly sweet, definitely tart, but not too sweet or so tart as to make it unpleasant. There is just a hint of bitter on the back end of the palate so it even feels like consuming a real lemon. I only noticed the cannabis flavors after swallowing and in the nose a little bit so if you do not like the weed flavor then this covers it pretty well.

Usage Comments: I enjoy the flavor and the effect comes relatively fast since it is basically chewy sugar and digests quickly. Since the taste hides the canna flavor well, and it is tasty, I would say be careful of eating too many since the urge will be there to take a few more.

Follow-up Questions

1. Dosage to reach desired effect: One ten milligram dose worked well enough. If I was going for a more pronounced effect I would recommend two or three but spaced out along half hour intervals just to make sure not to go too far too fast.

  1. Additional Comments: This is a good product and it gets the job done and I would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t wish to smoke or vape cannabis. The flavor is refreshing and the packaging maintained excellent freshness. I like that it didn’t “taste like weed”. It does contain corn syrup so some folks may have dietary issues with that. Additionally, it is produced with a BHO extraction of the activated THC. I am curious about the process they use to ensure solvent free extractions and deliver consistent quality in terms of the source material.

6.Usage Comments: I first gave it a light pinch to check how tight the roll was and found there were pockets of un-packed areas in more than one place which raised concerns about runs so I tamped it down a bit before lighting. Then I checked the dry un-lit hit to check flavor. I was surprised that I didn’t get much of a taste which suggests that it might have been rolled with material that had already had the trichromes knocked off. The dry hit was lacking in the banana flavor that is characteristic of the strain, but I did get a bit of spice, like nutmeg and cinnamon, so it was like banana bread but made without bananas. I gave a final sniff before lighting to see if my nose could pick up what my taste buds may have missed but still did not really get much of the ripe banana smell I was expecting.

Next, I lit up and took a few puffs then extinguished it. I waited about 15 minutes to gauge the effects and decided it was not powerful enough to stop there so I reignited and drew down a third of it. That was ok, the feeling that came on was a bit more on the head than the body, so I was getting more of the sativa type effect of this indica dominant (60/40) strain. I stopped again, waited, then decided that I would go a bit further so about an hour after the first hits I smoked the next third. The flavor was ok and had a smooth taste that had an earthy spiciness to it; although I kind of missed there being the sweetness of fruits.

About 2/3 was enough to do the trick. I got a pleasantly euphoric feeling and more balance between the head and body effect underlining the hybrids typical characteristics, not too sleepy, mental but not racing thoughts, decent all around.

  1. Additional Comments: I was not blown away but it wasn’t bad either. I just wasn’t impressed with it overall. I did have an issue with the roll, which I thought was not ideal. In fact, not only did it burn unevenly but I ended up losing a cherry and having to mend and re-light. Glad I wasn’t on a carpet when that happened. Also, I expected more flavor, especially on the first taster drags before actually lighting it. So overall I just found it ok, nothing really memorable in terms of effects. In terms of potency, if I find myself burning more than a quarter gram to reach the desired effects then I am going to be more critical in general. Considering that as well as the lack of range in the flavor, no sweet ripe banana notes to speak of, I would put it in C+ / B- territory.
